Kitten Starter Kits
Every kitten goes home with a thoughtful starter kit, put together with love and care. Inside, you’ll find a cozy blanket that smells like home, a variety of toys to keep your little one entertained, a collar, and helpful care information to guide you through those first exciting days.
Vaccinations
Your kitten’s health is our top priority. Before they leave for their forever home, each kitten receives age-appropriate veterinary care, including their first two distemper vaccinations and deworming treatment if needed.
We understand that everyone has their own approach to pet care—if you prefer to forgo vaccinations, just let us know. We’re happy to accommodate your preferences and work with you to ensure the best path for your kitten.
At Home Support
We believe support shouldn’t end when your kitten goes home. Whether you have questions about behavior, health, diet, or general care, we’re always just a message away. We’re happy to offer guidance whenever you need it—because your peace of mind matters, and we truly care about every kitten, even after they leave our home.
Are Ragdolls Right for You?
Ragdolls are unlike most cats. They’re incredibly affectionate, easygoing, and known for their signature “ragdoll flop” when picked up. These cats tend to form deep emotional bonds with their humans and love being around people. If you’re looking for a laid-back, loving companion that wants to be near you, follow you from room to room, and curl up on your lap, a Ragdoll may be the perfect match.
That said, because they bond so deeply, Ragdolls really don’t like being alone for long stretches of time. If you’re out of the house for many hours a day, we strongly recommend getting a second cat (it doesn’t have to be a Ragdoll!) to keep your kitten company. Ragdolls can become lonely and even depressed if left alone too often. Having a buddy around helps them stay happy, playful, and emotionally well-balanced.
Ragdolls should never, under any circumstances, be let outside to roam freely. If you are looking for an “outdoor cat”, Ragdolls will not be a good pick for you. Ragdolls are very docile and laid back- meaning that they will not survive outside alone. Ragdolls should only be brought outside on a leash and harness while supervised by you.
Health, Wellness & Trust
Before our kittens go home, they’re fully vetted—up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and dewormed. We want every kitten to start their next chapter as healthy and strong as possible.
We also believe in natural wellness and holistic care, so we take a gentle and informed approach when it comes to vaccinations. Based on our own research, we do not recommend giving more than one vaccine at a time to your kitten, and we strongly advise against combination or “bundle” vaccines. We also do not recommend the rabies vaccine for indoor cats, as we feel the risks often outweigh the benefits.
That said, we understand that every family has different beliefs and comfort levels when it comes to health care. Ultimately, the choice is yours—we’re just here to share what we’ve learned. If you prefer to bring home a kitten that is unvaccinated, just let us know. We’re happy to work with you to support your preferences.
Policies
Lifetime Surrender
We are committed to the lifelong well-being of every cat we bring into this world. If, at any point in time, your circumstances change and you’re no longer able to care for your Ragdoll, we will gladly welcome them back — no questions asked, no judgment, no matter the time it’s been since you brought your cat home. Life can be unpredictable, and we understand that difficult decisions sometimes need to be made. What matters most to us is that our cats are safe, loved, and never at risk of being placed in a shelter.
Declawing
Our kittens are born whole and healthy, and we believe they should remain that way. Declawing is not a simple nail trim—it’s a painful and permanent procedure that removes part of their toes and can lead to long-term physical and emotional distress. We require that all families who adopt from us honor this by never declawing their Ragdoll. Instead, we encourage gentle alternatives like routine nail trims, scratching posts, or claw covers to help maintain their comfort and wellbeing.
Indoor Only
Ragdolls are gentle, affectionate cats who thrive in the safety of an indoor home. Because of their trusting nature, they are not equipped to handle the dangers of the outdoors. While leashed walks and supervised outdoor time are welcome, we ask that our kittens live primarily indoors where they can be safe, loved, and protected—just as they deserve.
